life changes.
Yup, it's true...I'm on a diet. The exercise level has been hiked up too, just added bikram yoga to my life(an unlimted 2 month membership...we'll see how that goes!) Not sure how I feel of the change, having cooking restrictions will ultimately be a challenge for me. But nonetheless, I go forth strong and ready to tackle this weight loss and life style challenge. My first thing off the list was coffee. I really was getting tired of being so addicted, my several morning cups of coffee with cream and sugar sure took a toll on my lady humps. It's day 6 of life without a single drip of the stuff. I've replaced my caffeine intake with Yerba Mate, which is a great aid with dieting, helps you focus, strengthens your immune system, contains vitamins, minerals and amino acids....aaaaand reduces blood pressure, cholesterol and fatigue! In addition to that I have slowly traded in other food choices and replaced them with only good stuff.
My husband had a physical recently and his cholesterol levels were pretty high, which instantly shook me up and I couldn't help but feel a bit guilty for the bad health report. I knew we both had to make some changes all around. My goal is not to end up looking like anything that resembles a toothpick or a high couture model, just trying to add more years to my life. Still I look forward to cooking up all sorts of healthy yet delicious dinner options. I do love dinner, and so I shall continue to have it, and enjoy it too. Here we go.
