balsamic peach dessert.
I heart stone fruit, specially when it comes to peaches. Last year I entered a pie contest and made bourbon peach hand pies that fed 200 and something peeps, or something like that, I lost track. Anyhow, yesterday while out grocery shopping I came across these gorgeous Frog Hollow Farm yellow peaches and knew right away what to do with them. This recipe was shared by a lovely, quirky, fabulous, flight attendant, fashionista, jill of all trades gal named Marcy. This was my first official SF recipe, and what I mean by that is, right when i moved to SF this was the first recipe that was shared with me.
What you need:
2 big yellow peaches pitted and sliced in wedges
2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp brown sugar
a non-metallic mixing bowl
Combine ingredients and toss around in bowl. Cover and chill for an hour before serving. Scoop out some good vanilla ice cream(I used straus ice cream) and pour some peaches on top, drizzle a little of the balsamic/brown sugar liquid over. So easy and so delish!
