a rose is a rose is a rose

a rose from the front yard.

Things are what they are. Gertrude Stein is the genius behind the law of identity. In my case, it really is as simple as that, in more than one way but we'll start with one. I have a rose bush dilemma, having "too many" as i like to often say. I complain on how simple and old fashioned these rose bushes are, these being scattered through the front and the back of the house. I would much rather have something more exotic, maybe some ultra weird plants. Well, where was I? Oh, yes I always stop to clip, smell and admire any new blooms. So I'm a big fat liar, I do like these roses. But any way I look at them they are what they are, I'll learn to live with them.

rose inspired goodies...
